Discos

Several discos, inside the hotels, or that offer dinner and dancing, in caves or in Colonial Zone, with disco-music and merengue, informals or elegants. Among the new discos in Santo Domingo (these notes are dated 9 October 2012), Euphoria (photo) and Wao, Av. Venezuela, east side of the Capital. In Boca Chica the Disco Piano Plaza, Route 66 Bar, the Disco Batey, with a lot of girls which are always ready to have a fun.

 
   
 
 

Casinos

Most of the casinos in Santo Domingo is located in the hotels on Avenida George Washington, the Malecon, as Atlantic Word (photo) located in Quinto Centenario Hotel, or the classic casino in the Jaragua Hotel. Nothing can sweeten your holiday more than an exciting and lucky evening at the casino. Movies and Theatres

In Santo Domingo there are many cinemas, which project the American movies most recent and around the world, in their original version with subtitles in Spanish. The ticket price ranges from $4 (US) to $12 (for the news movies). The theater more important is the Teatro Nacional "Eduardo Brito" (photo) with concerts with world-renowned artists, theater and ballet; to report the Teatro de Bellas Artes and the Casa de Teatro, located in the Colonial Zone.

Boca Chica Nightlife

Boca Chica discos  are concentrated  in the main strip Duarte street closed to traffic, full of colors and even livemusic from pop to lap dance house music, from salsa to merengue to bachata, with its barsrestaurants and discos, which invade the street with their tables after seven in the evening. In the Hamaca Hotel, the new Luxury Disco and the casino.

 
   
 
 

Las Terrenas Nightlife

Located on the West Seafront is “Los Pescadores”, a collection of cozy, petite bistros on the water a perfect to have a drink or aperitif, a snack, or a relaxing dinner. After a late dinner try the nightlife at the nearby “Gaia” nightclub, or for those who want to try the true Caribbean spirit, the “Bodega”, a nightclub just in front of the Paseo Shopping Center.
