LOCATION: seafront in Juan Dolio, 2 km far from Los Marlins Metro Golf CountryClub , 3 km from Playa Esmeralda Guayacanes beach, 20 km (highway) from Boca Chica Beach, 60 km (highway) from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

An ideal position to visit the most famous tourist places of the south-east cost of the Dominican Republic, as Boca Chica, La Romana, Altos de Chavón, Saona and Catalina islands and the beaches of Bavaro Coast.

 

Italian owned, Albatros Residence Club looks at the crystal Caribbean Sea. Equipped beach is rounded by volcanic rocks. Sea view swimming pool and jacuzzi are barside.

 

ACCOMODATIONS

Albatros Resort offers 103 sea view apartments.

Each apartment has one or two bedrooms+dining\kitchen room+balcony+bathroom with shower.

All the apartments are full furnished: air conditioned, cable TV, safety box, full equipped kitchen (the micro wave is at disposal: you can ask it at the reception).

Telephone is available in many apartments too.

Daily cleaning service, change of bed linen, bath clothes and beach towels twice a week.

SERVICES

Restaurant a la carte, international cuisine. In the menu there are also typical Dominican dishes. The restaurant is air conditioned and is open all days in the week.

Open air service available. Snack bar in the swimming pool area.

Minimarket: foodstuffs, solar creme, postcards and so on. All day open.

Tennis court: The cement tennis court is free of charge. You can book it at the Reception. The court is not illuminated.

Golf: Metro Golf Country Club , 2 km far from the Residence, has a golf court of 18 holes. This service is for payment and on booking.

Diving: Once or twice a week there is a free lesson in the swimming pool for inexperienced diver. You can book other diving on place.

Baby-sitting: The service is for payment. You can book it 24 hours before at the reception.

Rent-a-car: in the airports the main world-wide groups of chartering are present: Avis, Hertz and also local societies.

Medical services: Dr. CORREA INTERNATIONAL SERVICE. It is about 700 metres far from the residence. Health service all hours of the day or night.

Change: It is possible to change values at the reception.

Credit cards: Are accepted VISA, MASTER CARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS.

Safety box: Every apartment has a safe box. Free of charge.

EXCURSIONS: the first two are a must, absolutely not to lose.


Saona Island: you visit Altos de Chavón, which is a reconstruction of a beautiful Spanish village of the 17th century by an Italian architect and the foundation "Casa de Campo". There is also an arena with 5000 sitting places, where some big international stars have concerts. Then with a fast launch you go through the Rio Chavón to enter into the Caribbean Sea and to visit Saona Island The way back is by catamaran.

Natural Park of Los Haitises: This excursion is very beautiful, above all from December to March, because in that period it is possible to admire the whales that court in open sea. You'll see also the Cayo Levantado Beach and you'll visit the natural Park of Los Haitises, where "Jurassic Park" was shot. Not to lose!

Catalina Island: a nice trip on a beautiful ship in the model of a schooner of corsairs towards Catalina Island; this excursion is very relaxing for the immersion in the nature and the possibility to make snorkelling around Catalina reef.

Santo Domingo by-day: a visit of the monuments that the Capital offers. For the lovers of art and of the colonial architecture it is a real pleasure.

Santo Domingo by-night: a trip into the joyful atmosphere of the Latin American night life.

RATES

60 \ 80USD per night per standard apartment (one bedroom 2 + 2 beds) depending on the season. All taxes included.

Check in at 5.00 pm and check out at 11.00 am (the reception is open all day long, but in case of check in before 7.30 am please contact the reception the day before)
